Qatar Museums (QM) has announced a dynamic lineup of November activities that offer something for every age group. From engaging family programs to immersive hands-on workshops, November is shaping up to be a creative and educational month across various cultural hubs in Doha.

M7 FOR EDUCATORS: TEACHER TRAINING AND TOOLKIT EXPLORATION FOR EDUCATORS

M7, Doha's arts and culture hub, will host creative workshops inspired by American artist Ellsworth Kelly as part of the Ellsworth Kelly at 100 exhibition, opening on October 31. Educators can attend special training sessions to integrate the exhibition into diverse subjects, including art and science, on select dates throughout the month.

M7 KIDS WORKSHOP: SHAPES IN SPACE (8 TO 12 YEARS)

For young art enthusiasts, the Shapes in Space workshop on November 2 will invite children ages 8-12 to explore Kelly’s works and design mobiles inspired by his iconic shapes and colors.

MUSEUM OF ISLAMIC ART

At the Museum of Islamic Art, Story Time at MIA Library will enchant young readers with Pirate Jamjoom on November 4, while a Family Day dedicated to Islamic art will run on November 9. Photography lovers can join Khalifa Al Obaidly's Photo Walk, capturing scenes inspired by Ara Guler's celebrated photography on November 8.

On November 18-20, MIA will offer The Art of Drawing Jewellery workshop, where participants can learn mood board techniques inspired by Chaumet’s prestigious archives, ideal for budding designers.

MATHAF: ARAB MUSEUM OF MODERN ART

Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art will host the Blue City with Clay workshop on November 25 and 28, inviting children ages 10-13 to work with vibrant colors inspired by Chefchaouen, Morocco. Art Meets Fashion on multiple November dates will appeal to fashion enthusiasts as they craft mood boards inspired by the museum’s Gerome exhibition, creating personalized designs that blend art with style.

3-2-1 OLYMPIC & SPORTS MUSEUM

At the 3-2-1 Olympic & Sports Museum, the Run for Diabetes event on November 7 aims to inspire young participants by showing them that diabetes does not limit their potential. The Souq Al Haraj: An Urban Furniture Lab will explore creative upcycling, with sessions throughout November, culminating in a showcase of community-inspired designs.

This November, Qatar Museums is bringing art, culture, and community to life, inviting Doha’s residents and visitors to get involved in a season full of creativity and discovery.
