Qatar Museums is set to unveil a series of cultural exhibitions and events in Paris to coincide with the 2024 Summer Olympics, running from July 26 to August 11. This initiative aims to foster cultural exchange between Arabic and French traditions through two significant exhibitions and the historic launch of the first Arabic translation of writings by Pierre de Coubertin, the visionary behind the modern Olympic Games.

Organized under the legacy of the Qatar-France 2020 Year of Culture and the 2014 Cultural Agreement between Qatar and France, this program highlights the enduring partnership and shared cultural values between the two nations.
Paris Olympics Organizers Ready for the Showcase
Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming event, emphasizing the rich cultural exchange it represents. "For more than a decade, we have worked closely with our colleagues in France to present the greatest riches of our respective cultures in Paris, Doha, and beyond. This latest program reconfirms our joint commitment to sharing our interests, values, and ideals," Sheikha Al Mayassa stated to Qatar News Agency.
Exhibitions Details:
- Residence Citeaux, Paris: Starting tomorrow and running until September 8, 2024, followed by a presentation in Doha in 2025.
- Le Royal Monceau—Raffles Paris Hotel: "Olympism: More than a Dream" will be showcased from July 31 to August 25.
