Qatar Invites Performers to Join Cultural Events at World Cup 2022
Qatar is encouraging artists from across the world to showcase their skills at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM, which will take place from November 21 to December 18, 2022, in order to provide an immersive cultural fan experience.
The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM cultural engagement program is the first of its type to take place during a FIFA World Cup competition. Qatar is asking musicians to join the entertainment offerings throughout the tournament as part of the program in order to provide an outstanding fan experience.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for EVERYONE to be a part of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Through the FIFA Globe Cup Qatar 2022, artists of all genders, nations, backgrounds, ages, and abilities are encouraged to share their art, performances, creativity, and culture with the world.
This is an open invitation to all people and organizations to interact and entertain a large audience outside of the stadiums by presenting their unique abilities and acts. This is your chance to shine and gain recognition throughout the world's greatest football competition; your ability will be seen and shared by millions of people across the world.
You will have the opportunity to astound and excite millions of spectators who will assemble around the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 stadiums before and after the games. Your trip continues to the stadium gates, where people are eager to cheer for their favorite teams. Along with this fantastic offer, it is worth noting that this is a compensated position. When you participate in the world's largest sporting event in Qatar, you can anticipate a monetary reward for your efforts!
The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) is taking applications from all types of performers willing to participate in performing at a range of cultural activations all over Qatar during the tournament, including visual arts, crafts and heritage, fashion and design, performance arts, theatre, music, and film. You might be a solo performer, singer, magician, face painter, DJ, or a group of street performers, cultural performers, music bands, or anybody else who can best connect with the audience.
What you have to offer is limitless. This is a chance for local, regional, and worldwide artists from a broad spectrum of arts - such as dance, comedy, drama, music, circus, fashion, visual arts installations, performances, cinema, and much more - from inside and beyond Qatar to share their skills with the world.
Successful candidates will become a part of the host country's entertainment offerings and contribute to a memorable fan experience. The artists will also lend their support to a variety of initiatives in:
- The stadium's outskirts.
- FIFA Fan Festival.
- Fan zones.
- Corniche Street activations.
- As well as other events such as the D'reesha Performing Arts Festival in Education City and leisure facilities in Msheireb, as well as metro and bus stations.
Requirements
Performers will need to provide the following information as part of their application:
- Personal and contact information
- Details of their art/practice
- Details about their performance setup
- Performers are also encouraged to upload proposals as part of their application
Successful applicants will be expected to cover the cost of their flights, accommodation, and personal expenses. The SC is working with local partners to provide special rates for accommodation.
