The Qatar Grand Prix is back in 2023, after a hiatus in 2022 due to the World Cup. It follows Singapore, Bahrain and Sakhir Grands Prix as the fourth full night race on the Formula 1 calendar.

The Qatar Grand Prix 2023 is the second edition of the F1 race in Qatar after it was held for the first time in 2021 at the Lusail International Circuit, with Lewis Hamilton taking the win for Mercedes in 50 laps, beating second-place Max Verstappen by almost 30 seconds.

This year's Grand Prix will see a full crowd for the first time, with around 50,000 F1 fans expected to watch the race.

When is the Qatar Grand Prix 2023?

The Qatar Grand Prix 2023 will be whizzing into Doha from Friday, October 6th, until Sunday, October 8th.

On Friday, October 6th, there will be a practice from 2:30pm to 3:30pm, before the qualifying round from 6pm until 7pm. Saturday, October 7th, will see the Sprint Shootout and the Sprint, while the race will take place at 6pm on Sunday, October 8th.

Where will the Qatar Grand Prix 2023 take place?

The Qatar Grand Prix 2023 will take place at the 5.4km Lusail International Circuit, now with four entrance tunnels for easy access. 

The track has been resurfaced, team buildings redesigned, and pit boxes increased to 50. 

Also, Qatar has signed a 10-year deal to host the sport from 2023, so get ready to see a lot more races in Doha!

Lusail International Circuit was originally built to host Qatar's first-ever MotoGP event in 2004. The track is famous for its legendary main straight, which is perfect for overtaking. Since 2008, thanks to a lighting system with 3600 bulbs, it has been possible to race at night at Lusail International Circuit.

How much are Qatar Grand Prix 2023 tickets?

Three-day tickets for the Qatar Grand Prix 2023 range in price from QR600 to QR24,576, while one-day general admission tickets cost QR500.

General admission for a three-day pass is QR600, while T2 and T3 Grandstand are priced at QR1,000. 

Tickets for the North Grandstand are QR1,500 for three days, and the Main Grandstand is QR2,000 for three days.

Club 16 tickets are QR7,713.30 for three days, while Premier Hospitality tickets are priced at QR16,75, and Paddock Club tickets, the cream of the crop, cost QR24,576 for the three days.
