US Olympic medallist Ibtihaj Muhammad has been made an ambassador for Qatar Foundation's fencing program, which is part of the institution's Creating Pathways program.

Muhammad attended the inauguration of the program alongside Her Highness Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

Ibtihaj Muhammad is an American fencer, Olympic medalist, and author, best known for being the first Muslim American woman to compete in the Olympics wearing a hijab.
