Qatar has declared Wednesday and Thursday, November 6-7, 2024, as official holidays to celebrate the national unity demonstration following the country's general referendum on proposed amendments to its Permanent Constitution. The announcement was made by the Amiri Diwan, the royal court of the Emir of Qatar.

Holiday Details
The holiday will apply to both public and private sector employees, with work resuming on Sunday, November 10, 2024. In addition, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education confirmed that the break also extends to students and staff in all public and private schools across the country.
