Qatar Creates Unveils Its New Program for The World Cup Qatar 2022
Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Qatar Museums and the Doha Film Institute and Co-Chair of Fashion Trust Arabia, announced today the new program of the “Qatar Creates” initiative and presented an overview of the cultural performances organized by the State of Qatar in the fall of 2022. On the occasion of Qatar hosting the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
In its new guise, the “Qatar Creates” initiative will be the inclusive platform to enrich, enhance and celebrate the diversity of cultural activities in Qatar with an unparalleled program of high-level events, exhibitions, live concerts, and opening events, all geared towards the start of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and beyond. As the initiative transforms from a limited period of events to a thriving national cultural movement throughout the year that attracts local and international audiences alike.

In her speech on the occasion, Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani said: “With the countdown to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 approaches, we are pleased to announce a rich list of cultural events hosted by Doha this fall, which will be full of international exhibitions and fashion shows, performances, concerts, theatrical performances and other events that provide a view of the rich cultural future that Qatar is drawing its features today.”
Her Excellency added: "The initiative, "Qatar Creates," in its new guise, is, in essence, a long-term cultural movement that works to enrich, enhance, and celebrate the diversity of cultural activities in Qatar. In order to provide residents and visitors with an unparalleled opportunity to enjoy the unparalleled cultural, promotional, and entertainment offerings.
The “Qatar Creates” initiative launched the cultural portal (One Pass), which provides a comprehensive guide to all cultural performances in Qatar that will allow all residents and visitors the opportunity to explore a whole world of arts and culture and visit museums, events, festivals, theater concerts and cultural performances across Qatar, in addition to many advantages in restaurants, entertainment, and adventure experiences, and fashion shows. And when we offer all this through the comprehensive cultural portal, we hope that everyone will have the opportunity to experience the rich cultural scene in Doha and enjoy everything that our country has to offer, so that our visitors will become our ambassadors who exchange their experiences and experiences and wish to return to us again and again.”
For his part, Mr. Saad Saleh Al-Hudaifi, Executive Director of the "Qatar Creates" initiative, said that the first activities that will be launched on the tenth of this month are: "Qatar Creates to Volunteer Adolescents".
He also announced that on the twelfth of next September, a number of events will be launched to mark the 70 days remaining until the start of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
He pointed out that during the period from 26 to 30 September, a fashion festival will be announced.
During the month of October, the Executive Director of the “Qatar Innovate” initiative stated that the “World of Football” exhibition will be opened at the Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum 3-2-1, as well as the reopening of the Museum of Islamic Art with an exhibition on Afghanistan during the period from 2 to 6th of next October.
