The Qatar Central Bank (QCB) has announced that Wednesday and Thursday, January 1 and 2, 2025, will be official holidays for financial institutions in the country.

The decision, based on Council of Ministers Resolution No. 6 (2008), aligns with Qatar’s official holiday schedule. The announcement, shared on QCB’s social media channels, confirms the two-day break, marking the year-end closure for financial entities.
"Financial institutions will resume operations on Sunday, January 5, 2025," the statement added.
This holiday allows financial professionals a well-deserved breather before diving into the new fiscal year, ensuring a smooth start to 2025.
