QBF Flight Director Lee Hooper said, "It’s oversubscribed, it’s become really popular amongst balloonists because it’s such a beautiful place to fly."

Balloonists find Qatar to be an aesthetic and ideal location for the Balloon Festival.

The Balloon Festival not only includes traditional hot air balloons but also includes balloons shaped like clowns and aliens, which makes the festival a unique and fun spectacle for visitors!

The festival has received international fame because the pictures of the festival have reached worldwide through social media as well as print media.
