On May 30, 2024, the Ministry of Labour in Qatar announced the new summer working hours to protect workers from heat stress. The new regulations will be in effect from June 1 to September 15, 2024.

Ban on Outdoor Work
The Ministry has decided to prohibit work in open spaces during the hottest part of the day. From 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, outdoor labor will be banned to safeguard workers from extreme heat conditions.
