The Ministry of Labor announced through its social media channels that the Qatar National Day holidays for the private sector will be one paid working day, according to the Labor Law.

The private sector employees will have a three-day long weekend, so they can check out various fun events happening in Qatar.
The ministry announced the holidays for the private sector on its X page.
The Ministry of Labour announced that National Day leave for workers in private sector establishments subject to the Labour Law is one paid working day.

In the announcement, the ministry also explained that if the private sector employee is asked to work during the Qatar National Day holidays, then the provisions regarding overtime hours and their salaries will be implemented.
The provisions are part of Article (74) of the Labour Law, which private sector employers must abide by if they ask employees to work during the National Day holidays.

The Amiri Diwan also announced that Qatar will get the National Day holidays from Sunday, Dec. 17 to Monday, Dec. 18.
The people in Qatar will get a four-day long weekend so they can relax and enjoy many fun activities during the holidays with their family or friends!
