Qatar Airways Has Extended its Partnership With UNHCR

The airline has extended its partnership for another two years with the UN agency.

Qatar Airways has extended its partnership with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) for another two years to help transport humanitarian aid to refugees and internally displaced people.

Both parties signed the agreement for an extension on Sunday, Apr. 25 and this is the third extension of the collaboration between Qatar Airways and UNHCR. 

The airline first started this collaboration with UNHCR in May 2020. The agreement ensures that Qatar Airways will dedicate its services to delivering humanitarian aid, including medical, food, and water supplies to people in need in various parts of the world.  

Qatar Airways is the world's largest air cargo operator with a fleet of 28 freighters and over 200 passenger aircraft which serve 70 freighter destinations and over 170 belly-hold destinations.
