All of these shuttles will depart from Doha International Airport, which is perfectly equipped and ready to transport these huge groups of people through flawless immigration procedures.

The strategic agreement between the GCC carriers was sealed with the signing of a Memorandum (MoU) involving Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar Al Baker; Eng. Yasir Al Jamal, Director General of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy; Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer of flydubai; Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Airways Eng. Maen Mahmoud Razouqi; and Chief Executive Officer of Oman Air, Abdu Rahman. Al Baker added at the press conference that Qatar's aim for the tournament was that it would be for the entire region, and that they would be able to share the best of their culture and traditions with people all over the world.

Match Day Shuttle tickets will be available at extremely low costs with rotating frequency from Dubai, Jeddah, Kuwait City, Muscat, and Riyadh, according to him.

Flydubai will operate 60 air travel each day from Dubai to Doha with 30 rotations, carrying up to 2,700 passengers; Kuwait Airways will operate 20 flights and 10 rotations per day from Kuwait City to Doha, carrying up to 1,700 passengers; Oman Air will operate 48 flights per day and 24 rotations from Muscat, carrying up to 3,400 passengers; and Saudia will operate 40 flights and 20 rotations per day from Riyadh and Jeddah, carrying up to 5,000 passengers.

"This is in addition to the regular flights that these airlines will continue to operate out of Hamad International Airport. Additional airlines will be hosted in collaboration with our joint partners, with the goal of making the fan experience as easy as possible so that everyone can enjoy the World Cup," Al Baker added.

Air Arabia and Etihad would operate additional flights, he said.

Fans who book a Match Day Shuttle flight will arrive in the morning and depart in the evening, eliminating the need for hotel accommodations. A no-check-in luggage policy will also make it easier for passengers to plan an easy-in, easy-out travel itinerary. "Flights will arrive five hours before the game, so fans can experience the city without feeling rushed, and spectators will have plenty of time before boarding their trip back," Al Baker added.

These shuttle services, according to Al Baker, will allow fans in Qatar to visit other sites in the area, linking their cultures and allowing them to experience what Arabian hospitality has to offer.

In the future, Qatar Airways will expand its Match Day Shuttle service across the GCC, as well as fly-in football fans from all over the world via its enormous global network.

"The environment of this competition allows us to spread the business with various regional airlines," Al Baker remarked. Our combined bandwidth with Flydubai, Kuwait Airways, Oman Air, and Saudia will provide travel flexibility, bridging cultures and allowing fans to visit multiple Middle Eastern destinations."

"Right from the start, we've said Qatar 2022 is a FIFA World Cup for the entire region – and the declaration of the Match Day Shuttle service will make it that much easier for many thousands of fans to attend the first tournament in the Middle East and Arab world," said Eng. Yasir Al Jamal, Director General of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy.
