The Qatar Fund for Development has sent a plane carrying 37 tons of foodstuffs which arrived at the Port Sudan Airport in the Republic of Sudan to support the Sudanese people and help them during the war crisis.
Qatar has been exerting efforts to aid the sisterly Republic of Sudan and has shown full support since the beginning of the war to help them overcome the hardships and the conflict they are living through.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it has been announced the evacuation of 164 Qatari residency holders from the sisterly Republic of Sudan by a Qatari plane that took off from Port Sudan Airport. 1,784 residents have been evacuated, increasing the overall number of evacuees.
Earlier, Qatar had evacuated Qatari citizens in Sudan and 1,620 Qatari residency holders. The Ministry emphasized Qatar's commitment to ensuring security and stability in Sudan, highlighting its strong support for the sisterly Republic of Sudan.
