The New NAIA Infra Corp (NNIC), the new operator of Manila's main airport, announced on October 12 that the terminal will undergo a major overhaul aimed at improving safety, modernizing facilities, and enhancing passenger flow. The renovation is expected to last until February 2025.
Temporary Flight Changes
Currently serving around 50 daily flights from Cebgo, AirSWIFT, and Sunlight Air, Terminal 4's closure will affect these airlines. Both Cebgo and AirSWIFT have confirmed that their operations will temporarily shift to Terminal 2 beginning next month.
Focus on Passenger Comfort
The airport operator emphasized that the renovation is aimed at making Terminal 4 more comfortable and efficient for passengers. In a statement, NNIC said, "While the renovation may cause some temporary inconvenience, we ask for the public's patience and understanding as we work on these important upgrades."
Passengers are advised to stay updated on flight schedules and follow official announcements to avoid any confusion during the renovation period.
