Msheireb Museums is set to unveil ‘Memory of the Land,’ a collective art exhibition celebrating the rich cultural heritage and identity of Palestine. Opening on Tuesday, January 21, at Bin Jelmood House, this showcase promises an immersive journey through Palestinian history and resilience, captured through art donated by regional creators.

Featuring works from 12 artists across Palestine, Jordan, Tunisia, Algeria, and Syria, the exhibition offers a unique narrative. Each artwork represents a month of the year, illustrating traditional Palestinian life through themes like folk music, embroidery, vibrant markets, and historic architecture.
Abdulla Al Naama, General Manager of Msheireb Museums, highlighted the exhibition's purpose:
“Building on the success of ‘For the Children of Gaza,’ which brought global attention to Palestinian children, ‘Memory of the Land’ calls for cultural preservation while supporting humanitarian causes. This exhibition reflects the power of art to protect heritage and foster understanding.”
Renowned artists like Safaa Salama and Mohammad Akleek from Jordan/Palestine, Asala Shouk and Noha Al Habib from Tunisia, Tawfiq Mubarki from Algeria, and Mohammad Kakhi from Syria contribute to the exhibit.
