Msheireb Downtown Gets a New Art Installation

Barahat Msheireb in Msheireb Downtown Doha has gotten a temporary art installation this week.

The art installation called 'Echo of Lost Innocence' will be at the location until Thursday, Sep. 26. The art installation has been installed by Msheireb Properties in collaboration with Qatar Charity and White Event.
Multidisciplinary artist Bachir Mohammad has designed this art installation will be open to the public daily from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with free admission.
'Echo of Lost Innocence' evokes empathy and solidarity with the children of Gaza and the art installation symbolizes a call for global solidarity with Palestinian children.

The art installation features more than 15,000 teddy bears, which symbolize each life lost during the ongoing war in Gaza. These can be purchased by visitors and the proceeds will be dedicated to support Gaza.
The bears wear black T-shirts with the inscription: “I’m not just a number. I’m human. With an identity. With a homeland. I am Palestine.”
Following the art installation, a group exhibition titled 'For the Children of Gaza' will be hosted at Msheireb Museums in Bin Jelmood House.
