The Ministry of Municipality has declared that a food factory that tampered with expiration dates has been shut down.
The Ministry of Municipality stated on Twitter that the Al Rayyan Municipality had taken control of a factory that was involved in commercial fraud by prolonging the shelf life of bottled juices.

The Health Control Department of the Municipality conducts regular inspections of medium and light industries, and the closure of the factory is a part of this campaign. The Ministry has taken legal action against the factory for altering the expiry dates and emphasized its commitment to ensuring compliance with Consumer Protection laws and regulations. The Ministry will not tolerate any violations and negligence regarding consumer safety.
