Ministry of Hajj Announces the Opening for Umrah Visa Applications

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the start of receiving requests for issuing visas for pilgrims coming from outside the Kingdom from all countries of the world, to perform the rituals of Umrah and visit the Prophet’s Mosque, for the Umrah season of the next year 1444 AH, starting today, Thursday, the fifteenth of the current month of Dhu al-Hijjah, 1443 AH, corresponding to 7/14/2022 AD.
The Ministry stated in a press statement that the start of Umrah for pilgrims from inside and outside the Kingdom begins on the first of Muharram next year 1444 AH, corresponding to 7/30/2022 AD.

The requirements for issuing an Umrah visa can be found by visiting the link:(https://haj.gov.sa/ar/InternalPages/Umrah) and permits can also be issued for pilgrims from inside the Kingdom through the “Eatmarna” application, amid an integrated system of health services and measures approved by the concerned authorities to maintain the safety and health of pilgrims and visitors, within easy procedures that ensure the performance of Umrah rituals with ease.
The controls for qualifying external agents to provide services for Umrah pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque included submitting a qualification request through the portal of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah at the link: (https://umralicense.haj.gov.sa) and adhering to the controls described in the portal, with attaching documents and data related to the commercial register, membership of the International Air Transport Organization (IATA), and a number of other personal data.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is working in coordination with the competent authorities to determine preventive health measures to protect against COVID-19, including obtaining approved vaccines in the Kingdom, attaching a certificate of immunization approved by the official authorities in the country of the pilgrim, in addition to an acknowledgment of the correctness of the information.
