Dubai Rugby Sevens


Dubai's Rugby Sevens tournament, known for its vibrant atmosphere, is expected to maintain its carnival-like ambiance in 2023. Taking place at The Sevens Stadium, the 2022 edition took place from December 1 to December 3, with similar dates expected for the 2023 competition.

Abu Dhabi Marathon

The Abu Dhabi Marathon's fifth edition offers an exciting opportunity for both competitors and spectators. Impressive performances by Titus Ekiru and Judith Jeptum Korir, who clinched victory with outstanding times of 2:06:13 and 2:22:30, added to the event's allure. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 16.

Abu Grand Prix 2023

Now the undisputed home of the final race in F1’s calendar, Abu Dhabi will play host to the season finale once again in 2023. Max Verstappen clinched the title from Lewis Hamilton here in 2021 in a classic race that will be remembered for decades to come. 2022’s race was a more straightforward affair, this time with Verstappen winning comfortably, but race fans will hope for another vintage outing in 2023.

Qatar Grand Prix

After its first Grand Prix in 2021, Qatar missed out on a circuit slot in 2022. That won’t be repeated in 2023, though, as Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton will return to the circuit he once dominated. Now more of an underdog, after back-to-back championships for Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, Hamilton will be hoping for a stronger showing in 2023.

Grand Prix of Qatar (MotoGP)

Get ready for some goosebumps and adrenaline vibes as the MotoGP bikes arrive at the  Lusail International Circuit in November 2023. This thrilling event offers a chance to witness renowned riders like Marc Marquez in action, providing a different spectacle from Formula 1. The specific dates for the event are Friday, November 17, to Sunday, November 19, with ticket information to be announced.

LIV Golf Invitational Series

Following a highly successful first season, LIV Golf has unveiled its upcoming events scheduled for 2023, featuring between 10 and 14 tournaments worldwide. Destinations across Australia, Latin America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East will host these prestigious golf events. While specific dates and locations are yet to be disclosed, considering the triumph at KAEC's Royal Greens - Golf & Country Club, it is likely that LIV Golf will return to this impressive 72-par course in 2023. The season is expected to run until November ending in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

World Combat Games 2023


Riyadh has been confirmed as the host city for the highly anticipated 2023 World Combat Games, creating excitement among martial arts fans in Saudi Arabia. The agreement between the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee and the Global Association of International Sports Federations will bring together around 2,000 athletes from 15 disciplines to showcase their skills. Taking place from October 21 to October 30 in Riyadh, the event aims to promote public health, generate interest in martial arts, and highlight talent in these sports.
