The Lusail Boulevard area will be off-limits for vehicles and become for pedestrians only from Maghrib (sunset) prayer time until Fajr (dawn) prayer time during the holy month of Ramadan.

This move comes in order to effectively manage the rush that is expected during the month and to ensure everyone's safety.
The area, which has recently become a lively neighborhood, is expected to witness heavy footfall during Ramadan evenings after Muslims break their fast.
Lusail Boulevard is located near the golden Lusail Stadium, which hosted the final of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 which made it a popular tourist spot among international football fans.
During the FIFA World Cup, Lusail Boulevard was also closed off to vehicular traffic and remained a pedestrians-only road for more than two weeks.
It is a main road that stretches from the four iconic Lusail skyscrapers, and has several cafes, a family-friendly atmosphere, and daily street shows.
