Moondove

Karim Kassem's feature documentary focuses on three stories set in the mountains of Lebanon, which metaphysically converge to reveal memories of love and loss.

A drought threatens a remote village's land and way of life after harvest is over.

Red Path

Lofti Achour's film is set in an isolated landscape of central Tunisia and is about 14-year-old Achraf whose life falls apart when he witnesses the murder of his cousin and is forced to carry the message back to his family.

Rising Up at Night

The city of 17 million people, Kinshasa, is plunged into darkness, leaving its people struggling to access light. The film's lead, Kudi, mobilizes his neighborhood to buy stolen cable to restore electricity in the area for the festivities.
