Kiosks to Help Visitors Book Transportation and "Discover Qatar" Tours
Discover Qatar, a subsidiary of Qatar Airways, has opened 15 temporary points of sale in key locations across Qatar, to serve fans and visitors throughout the tournament, starting with booking transportation, moving between stadiums, and other internal tours.
The company launched kiosks in Souq Waqif and Katara, in addition to a group of concierge offices in our city - Barwa, and in 12 hotels throughout Doha, in order to serve the fans and visitors of the tournament, as part of its commitment to provide exceptional cultural trips in the State of Qatar.

Since sport is closely linked to culture, the equipped Discover Qatar tours will shed light on the deep-rooted relationship between Qatar and football, as these tours will provide discovery of Qatar museums, its ancient markets, and its picturesque nature.
In this context, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said: “Qatar has a rich culture and history, and we welcome guests coming to attend the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and encourage them to take advantage of these services to get a closer look at the splendor and beauty of Qatar.”
Al Baker added, "Whether the fans come to learn about the work system or the environment here, or learn about the ancient history and culture, we are confident that they will live a fun and different atmosphere in the tournament, which is the first of its kind in the Middle East, and they will return to their homes bringing with them unforgettable memories."
The Discover Qatar tours come under the following titles: “Discover the Sand Dunes”, “Discover the Inland Sea”, “Discover Souq Waqif”, “Discover Katara Village”, “Discover the Desert Waterfalls and Adventure City”, "Discover Mangroves in Qatar" and "Discover Doha City"
In addition to the newly launched activities and services, which include: the recently opened Fuwairit Kite Beach Resort, which is a new tourist attraction for windsurfing in the northeast of Doha.
"Discover Qatar" also oversees the transportation service between the stadiums for all matches of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which is a smooth and direct way to get to and from the stadiums. The buses operate from two specific transportation points: Doha Port and Souq Waqif.
It is noteworthy that the working hours of kiosks and hotel offices will be as follows: Souq Waqif: 24 hours a day.
Katara 14:30 - 23:59 Qatar time.
Madinatna - Barwa 09:00 - 19:30 Qatar time.
Doha Hotel Concierge Offices: 09:00 - 19:30 Qatar time.
With the launch date of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 approaching within four days, Qatar is preparing to receive 1.5 million tourists throughout the duration of the tournament, to launch the largest football sporting event ever, in which 32 teams will participate, where on 20 November the host Qatari team will meet its Ecuadorian rival in Al Bayt Stadium, the month-long tournament will end on Sunday, December 18, with the World Cup final match at Lusail Stadium.
