Katara's Cultural Village Foundation hosted various Asian festivities during the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 till Feb. 10.

Festivities included the traditional ardah dance, which is native to Qatar and other GCC countries.
Al Thuraya Planetarium also showcased some cultural programmes on Jan. 14 including 2-D and 3-D shows for children to educate them about astronomy in a fun and interactive way.
Some festivities on Jan. 14 also included performances from the traditional Indonesian dance groups.
Other festivities also included a marching band by the Music Battalion in the Qatari Armed Forces.
Katara also witnessed many football fans practising freestyle football tricks.
Events at Katara Cultural Village During the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023
Katara will be home to a long-running fashion exhibition till Feb. 12, titled 'Qatari Female Fashion Designers', which will feature chic, fashionable pieces from 12 local female fashion designers.
There will also be the Katara International Exhibition for Kahraman 2024 from Jan. 15 to Jan. 18 at the Katara Hall-Building 12.
Football fans are also loving the handicrafts markets at Katara, which feature traditional souvenirs and handicrafts.
Kata Publishing House will host competitions and artistic and educational workshops for children visiting Katara.
The competitions which will occur during the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 at Katara are the Best Picture Competition and the Fine Art Competition, which will include cool prizes for the winners.
