Expo2020 is just around the corner, and as everyone is rushing to get the tickets and attend the grand opening, we have got you covered on how you can attend the Expo 2020 grand opening.

If you buy a season pass or family package before Saturday August 14 you stand a chance to win special entry to the Expo 2020 Dubai Opening Ceremony, which will take place on Thursday September 30.

Fifty winners will be announced during the first week of September on the Expo’s social media channels and a personal invitation will also be sent later. All UAE residents aged 18 and older are eligible to join the draw.


Season passes cost Dhs495 and allow unlimited entry for the entire six-month run of the Expo. If you are a Mastercard debit or credit card holder you’ll receive 25 percent off and you’ll be entered into the draw for Opening Ceremony tickets twice.
Family packages cost Dhs950 and include unlimited access for two parents plus a nanny, discounts on food and beverages, 25 percent off on five additional tickets, and an advance-purchase photograph voucher worth Dhs125.
All tickets including the one day tickets for Dhs95 and multi-day passes for Dhs195 will give you access to all pavilions, events and live performances. There will be unlimited opportunities to enjoy the diverse entertainment programme with up to 60 live events each day with world-class music, dance and art.
Children under the age of 18 and students holding a valid student ID from any academic institution in the world will be given free entry. Free tickets will also be available for people of determination, with their companion receiving a 50 percent discount as well. Visitors aged 60 and older can enter for free.
Tickets will go on sale online, they will also be available through more than 2,400 ticket resellers.
