Upon presentation of a valid QID, all residents and citizens of Qatar will continue to be granted free entry to all venues and historical sites, including temporary exhibitions.
The National Museum of Qatar, the Museum of Islamic Art, and the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum will now charge QR 50 for non-Qatari residents to enter, giving them access to both the permanent collections and any current exhibitions.
The entrance to heritage sites including Al Zubarah Fort and Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, both of which are in Education City, would also no longer be required to pay for by either Qataris or non-residents.
Additionally, the new concession pricing will grant non-resident students and large groups (25+) a 50% discount while allowing children under 16 and ICOM members, as well as visitors to gift shops and café/restaurants and those taking part in school and university tours, free access to the arts and cultural offerings of Qatar Museums.
