The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs stated yesterday that registration would begin on Sunday, February 12, for Qatar residents, citizens as well as expatriates who plan to perform Hajj this year.
Al Misifri, speaking at a press conference Tuesday at the Ministry, stated that 18 Hajj tour operators have been given initial approval to transport pilgrims from Qatar to Makkah via air or road, depending on demand for the upcoming Hajj season.

Director of the Department of Hajj and Umrah at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Ali bin Sultan Al Misifri stated that the online registration procedure (via the hajj.gov.qa website) will begin at 8 am and run for one month, until March 12, 2023.
Both Qataris and citizens of the other GCC nations must be at least 18 years old. However, expatriates must be at least 40 years old and have lived in Qatar for at least 10 years before registering. After completing the registration process, candidates will get a message of approval in ten days.
All applicants must have received two doses of COVID-19 vaccinations from manufacturers including Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson that have been approved by the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
The process for registering for Hajj has been improved to make it easier for Hajj applicants. Starting on the day of registration, a hotline number, 132, will be activated with other forms of communication, allowing applicants to contact you for any questions or complaints.
