Google Cloud proudly commemorated the first anniversary of its Doha Google Cloud region with the premier Google Cloud Doha Summit on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Held under the esteemed patronage of His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, the event highlighted a year of significant progress, innovation, and collaboration in Qatar's digital landscape.

The summit, convened at Stadium 974 in Doha, convened over 1,000 attendees, including Google Cloud partners, customers, government officials, and industry leaders. It served as a platform to reflect on the achievements of the past year and explore the future of cloud computing and AI in Qatar.
Assistant Undersecretary for Infrastructure and Operations Affairs at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Mr. Sami Mohammed Al Shammari, extended congratulations to Google Cloud on their successful year in Qatar.
