As the world has gone into lockdown due to the Covid-19 outbreak, many had to continue their studies online and many had to leave their jobs, and more. However, it is a concern as we are getting back to our normal lives. With the announcement of schools not being online anymore your child might have some worries as they have been used to online distance learning.

It’s important to give them the message that returning to school is a big thing and you understand that. Talk to them in a way that is sensitive to their needs – you will know your child best. Don’t intrude or impose yourself on them, but gently open the conversation and let them know you’re there for them if they want to talk.
Start off with creating a sleep routine to get them in the mood prior to beginning school. Educate them more about the virus and how to take all of the precautionary measures by including a hand sanitizer in their bag.
It is also important to teach them that it is not okay to share juices or anything that can put them in harm. If they are worried about school, excite them about seeing their friends and the importance of school. You can even take them out to see a friend or two to practice socializing and get back in the game.
