FARZI CAFÉ THRILLS CITY GASTRONOMES WITH A BRAND-NEW MENU
Famous for its flair for global fusion, Dubai’s innovative modern Indian bistro is back on everyone’s dining ‘to-do’ list this season with a brand new line up of theatre-filled dishes
Master inventor Albert Einstein said ‘creativity is intelligence having fun’ – a sentiment running through every single bite of Farzi Café’s new menu. Created by one of the city’s favourite culinary hero’s, Executive Chef Pradeep Singh Negi, each dish comes packed full of flavour and cleverly constructed fun – from the show stopping Mutton Korma Pot Pie to a smart-yet playful #FarziStyle take on a classic minestrone.

With the city’s October calendar filling up with delicious diversions, why take time to try Farzi’s new menu? Because diners won’t find cooking like this anywhere else in Dubai…
DYING TO HEAR MORE ABOUT FARZI CAFÉ’S NEW DISHES?
Kicking off the new flavour revolution with a not-so-simple soup or shorba, classic Italian minestrone gets the Farzi treatment, served with basil khari laced with aromatic puffs of rosemary air. A creamy mound of fresh buratta and ripe heirloom tomatoes are spiked with a tangy salad made of black chickpeas for a dramatic contrast in colours and flavours.
Finding new ways to enjoy a classic Indian tikka, Farzi’s new succulent chicken version blends together a classic satay with a traditional tikka – served with corn salad, onion tomato bell pepper. While another IG-worthy twist on tikka combines tender Wagyu and vibrant purple potatoes roasted on the tandoori in masala spices. For vegetarians, the paneer tikka and trio of blackened peppers is served sizzling from the tandoori with a sharp n’ sweet mint chutney; and fish-lovers can get their fix with a coriander-laced tikka served with cooling aerated yoghurt and podi dust.
Also from the tandoor, lamb chops with caramalized onions are the ultimate marriage of meat and spice while non-meat eaters can tuck into a Portobello slider layered with an oozing cheese sauce, sweet onions and greens.
Sure to set tongues wagging and taste buds firing, Farzi’s new Mutton Korma Pot Pie is a mighty sight to behold. Burnished gold on the outside, its pasty crust is dramatically cracked to reveal melting chunks of mutton slow-cooked in a rich korma gravy. Served with a fresh pile of methi-infused paratha to soak up the juices, this indulgent showstopper is a joy to be shared with family and friends.
Concluding a truly creative line up of new dishes – two debut desserts are predictably served with #FarziFlair The much-loved Indian rice pudding phirni is given a contemporary ‘oxide’ twist and made from risotto rice for extra punch but still sings with cardamom and saffron. While lace-like nests of kunafa are filled with rasgulla, sweet South Asian dumplings soaked in syrup.
Executive Chef Pradeep Singh Negi says; “We are always trying to find new ways to excite the sophisticated culinary palates of Dubai diners and we’re confident our new menu will deliver. Taking inspiration from dishes we’ve tried from around the world and sprinkling them with a bit of Farzi magic, the new plates give our guests the chance to challenge their perception of what flavour means. We can’t wait for people to tuck in and start telling us which is their favourite.”
As well as the new flavours, Farzi Café’s modern Indian menu has been delighting its UAE guests since it opened in 2016. Dishes such as Parsi chicken curry and coriander parantha, Kerala shrimp biryani with black gram pachadi and double dairy dal makhni are long-lasting favourites; along with the more unusual such as deconstructed Shepherd’s pie with tawa aloo seared Wagyu. Loved as much for their sliders and stacks; spice-filled fresh salads and buzzy weekend brunches – Farzi Café is known for delivering thrilling flavour combinations and a contemporary take on classic Indian dishes.
Farzi Café’s new menu will be available at both Farzi Café locations in City Walk from 20th October 2021 and Mall of Emirates from October 31st 2021.
