The organizers for the Expo 2023 Doha have revealed the criteria for individuals wanting to apply for the volunteer programme of the event.

The applicant must be 18 years old by Sep. 1. He or she can volunteer seven to eight days per month for six months.
The applicant has to be a citizen or resident of Qatar and he or she has to have an outgoing and motivated personality.
Overseas applicants might be considered if they are self-funded, are capable of staying in Qatar for six months, and can acquire the appropriate visa.
Visa, travel, and accommodation for these applicants will not be provided by Expo 2023.
People who do not have any volunteering experience are welcome to apply for the programme and applications from people with disabilities will also be considered.
If these applicants require assistance during volunteering, then the caregiver is also encouraged to apply for the programme.
The main purpose of the volunteers is to ensure the best experience for visitors, participants, and media.
The Expo website has also listed several functional areas within which volunteers can work, which include Ticketing, Language Services, Participant Operations, and much more.
The volunteering roles for Expo 2023 are unpaid, nonetheless, volunteers will gain a very insightful experience and various benefits.
