The Free Spirits of Wild Horses exhibition will run until Saturday, June 17th, at Gallery 4. Entry is totally free for Qatar and GCC residents.
The exhibition features the rebellious and dynamic works of Navarro and his unique approach using mixed media, featuring paintings that exude a sense of unruly energy.
Navarro's pieces are famed for capturing the essence of free-roaming wild horses, with unbridled bursts of colour.
"From childhood, horses have held a special place in my heart, and I have always been captivated by their strength, nobility, speed, power, loyalty, perseverance, and endurance. Horses embody a vital synergy that reflects the strong cultural bond between Qatar and Latin America," Navarro said.
The event is organized by the Fire Station: Artist in Residence, in cooperation with the Embassy of Panama.
Khalifa Ahmad Al Obaidli, Director of Fire Station said: "The exhibition offers a distinct opportunity for the people of Qatar to experience the work of one of Panama's most celebrated artists. As a venue dedicated to the promotion of contemporary art."
