The Olympic Games will begin on Friday, Jul. 26 and run until Sunday, Aug. 11.
The tournament will include 329 events in 32 disciplines.

The track and field will be the first sport to introduce prize money for the winners in the Olympics.
World Atheletics has announced that gold medalists will receive $50,000 in Paris.

The organization has also set aside $2.4 million to pay gold medalists in men's, women's, and mixed events in track and field.
Relay teams will split the winner's cheque.
Silver and bronze medalists will not receive rewards in this year's Olympics, but they will from the 2028 LA Olympics.
Middle Eastern Atheletes in the Paris Olympic Games 2024
Qatar's Mutaz Barshim will participate in the Olympics' high jump category, while Saudi Arabia's Donia Abu Taleb will partcipate in the taekwondo category of the tournament.
Jordan's Julayna Al Sadeq will also participate in the women's taekwondo event.
Egypt's Mayar Sherif and Tunisia's Moez Echargui will participate in the tennis events at Roland Garros.
The UAE has qualified to participate in the equestrian showjumping and judo. Safiya Al Sayegh has become the first Emirati woman and second rider from the emirates to qualify for the Olympics.
