The EURO 2024 quarter-finals begin today and here are the teams who have made it to this stage.

Spain

The team advanced to this stage after defeating Georgia on Monday, Jul. 1 with a score of 4-1. Rodri, Fabian Ruiz, Nico Williams, and Dani Olmo scored a goal each for the Spanish team.

Germany

Germany made it to the quarter-finals after defeating Denmark on Sunday, Jun. 30 with a score of 2-0. Kai Havertz and Jamal Musiala scored a goal each for Germany. 

Portugal

The team reached this stage after winning against Slovenia with three penalty goals on Tuesday, Jul. 2. Goalkeeper Diogo Costa saved all three penalty kicks from Slovenia's players, helping his team win.

France

The team beat Belgium with one goal on Monday, making it to the quarter-finals. Jan Vertoghen scored a goal for France, which helped them win the match. 

England

The English team made it to the quarter-finals after defeating Slovakia with a score of 2-0 on Sunday, Jun. 30. Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane secured a goal each for England. 

Switzerland

The team reached this stage after winning against Italy on Saturday, Jun. 29 with a score of 2-0. Remo Freuler and Ruben Vargas scored a goal each for the Swiss team.

Netherlands

The Dutch team won against Romania with a score of 0-3 on Tuesday. Donyell Malen's late double helped the Netherlands win the game. 

Türkiye

The Turkish team defeated Austria with a score of 1-2 on Wednesday to reach the quarter-finals. Merih Demiral scored twice for the team, but it was goalkeeper Mert Gunok whose stunning save helped his team win.

  • Spain vs. Germany: Friday, Jul. 5.
  • Portugal vs. France: Friday, Jul. 5.
  • England vs. Switzerland: Saturday, Jul. 6.

  • Netherlands. vs. Türkiye: Sunday, Jul. 7.
