Dubai: You Can Pay Vehicle Fines in Interest-Free Installments

Drivers can pay their traffic fines in Dubai in instalments. Dubai Police have inked agreements with several banks allowing their credit cardholders to settle the fines without incurring interest or any additional charges.

Major Dr. Abdullah Yasser Amiri, Director of Revenue Department at Dubai Police, shared the details with ARN News.
The instalment plan is only applicable to fines amounting to at least AED 500.
Customers can apply for the service through the Dubai Police website, app, and smart police stations.
On the other hand, Ajman Police has announced a three-month grace period for expired vehicle registrations from May.
Driving a vehicle with an expired licence will result in a AED 500 fine and four black points, according to the emirate's police force.
