Dubai Police: Naked Video Shoot Group Will Be Deported

Dubai on Tuesday said it will deport a group of people who were involved in an indecency incident on a balcony in Dubai Marina.
The group were charged with public indecency and storing images of a pornographic nature.
“The individuals involved will be deported from the United Arab Emirates. No further comment shall be made on the matter,” authorities said.

This happened after footage was shared on Twitter of a large group of women posing naked on the balcony of a penthouse apartment in Marina.
Police did not identify those detained, but Russia’s consulate general had previously said the male cameraman behind the shoot, is a Russian citizen, but said none of the women were.
His Excellecy, Essam Issa Al Humaidan, Attorney General of the Emirate of Dubai stated that the Public Prosecution office has completed investigations on a recently publicized photo shoot which contravened UAE law.

Consular officials said although some of the detained women spoke Russian, they were not citizens of the Russian Federation.
