Dubai Police launched an underwater mission to aid a tourist who accidentally dropped his personal belongings into the Hatta Dam.

The man contacted the hotline seeking help, few minutes later a team from the maritime rescue department arrived to the scene.

"We happily respond to people’s requests and recover their valuables and exceed their expectations," said Lieutenant-Colonel Ali Abdullah Al Naqbi, Director of the Maritime Rescue Department at Dubai Police.
The tourist expressed his thanks to the police for the speedy recovery of the items.
