Doha will host the fifth edition of the Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA) Awards in October, which will showcase Nigeria as the guest country for 2023.

The Advisory Board comprises some well-renowned names in the fashion and luxury industries including Ana Khouri, Michael Ward, Miral Youssef, and many others.
The Advisory Board will select 24 finalists who will then present their work to the FTA Jury in Doha to get a chance to win at the FTA Awards 2023.
The cash prize given to winners ranges from $100,000 to $200,000.
During the award ceremony, the prestigious Franca Sozzani Debut Talent Award will also be given, which will include a grant of $25,000.
Winners in the categories of ready-to-wear, accessories, and jewellery will get the opportunity to participate in a one-year mentorship program, managed by Matches Fashion, which is a London-based luxury retailer.
The brand will also carry the collections of the winning designers.
The winner in the evening-wear category will have his or her collection featured by the famous luxury retailer Harrods.
FTA is a non-profit organization that works towards supporting and uplifting designers from the Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) region.
The FTA Awards will feature the region's new-found talent who will make a fierce competition for MENA's most prestigious fashion awards.
