The International Construction Technology and Building Materials Exhibition (Project Qatar) and the International Hospitality and HORECA Exhibition (Hospitality Qatar) have been combined into a "One Show, Multiple Opportunities" event this year, with over 300 companies from 30 countries participating.

The significance of this year's edition stems from the fact that it is Doha's final and largest international commercial event before the highly anticipated FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

During the inaugural visit, the minister was accompanied by a large group of public personalities and official delegations, including those from the Public Works Authority (Ashghal), Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Qatari Diar, Manateq, and Milaha.

More than 30 ambassadors from participating countries attended the ceremony, as well as over 16 official trade delegations from around the world, the most important of which was the delegation from the National Real Estate Committee of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, one of the largest private-sector delegations to visit Qatar since the two countries' relations were restored.

Sheikh Mohammad, Qatar's Minister of Commerce and Industry, emphasized the significance of Project Qatar and Hospitality Qatar 2022 in highlighting the rapid growth of key development projects being implemented as part of Qatar's national vision QNV 2030 and the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Haidar Mshaimesh, General Manager of IFP Qatar, expressed thanks to the leaders of the associated industries and markets in Qatar and throughout the world for putting their trust in the firm and the exhibitions it produces in response to the spectacle at DECC.

"Since their beginnings some years ago, Project Qatar and Hospitality Qatar have played a critical part in the makeover of Qatar's construction, infrastructure, and hospitality sectors in preparation for hosting the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM. As the world prepares for this huge event, the two exhibitions provide an opportunity for the business sector to interact and network. This high-level audience, which we greeted at the opening ceremony today, is a clear testament to the company's exhibitions and its position."

Investment Holding Group has changed its brand identity and name to Estithmar Holding after completing a significant acquisition of Elegancia Group, establishing one of Qatar's largest conglomerates on the National Stock Exchange.

Over 300 exhibiting companies are expected to attend, including 180 international companies from 30 countries (seven of which will participate through official national pavilions), as well as 120 Qatari companies from major government and semi-government agencies as well as prominent private sector entities. As a Strategic Partner, the Public Works Authority "Ashghal" is funding and supporting the exhibition.
