DJWE Concludes with A Distinguished Presence of Qatari Designers
The activities of the eighteenth edition of the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition were concluded at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, and the current edition of the exhibition was characterized by being the longest and most anticipated in the annual calendar of events in Qatar, and the days of the exhibition, which opened its doors to the public, were extended from Monday 9 May until Saturday, May 14, 2022.
The exhibition, in its eighteenth edition, featured luxurious designs from classic and contemporary collections designed by internationally known brands and designers, as well as local designers.

In support of community initiatives, a number of designers participating in the eighteenth edition of the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition presented collections of unique pieces of art and jewellery, the proceeds of which were directed to the Education Above All Initiative.
The Famous French brand Cho Bard presented eight pieces of jewelry, the proceeds of which were earmarked to support the Education Above All Initiative, The collection included four iconic Happy Diamonds watches, and three bracelets designed specifically for the Education Above All initiative.
Local art pieces of an exceptional nature created by Qatari designers in support of the same initiative were exhibited, including the “Al-Qarnas” necklace designed by Maryam Al-Khalaf, which is made of white gold and studded with rubies and diamonds, and its value is 26,500 Qatari riyals.
The designer was inspired by this necklace, by the falcon, which symbolizes pride and dignity and carries many meanings and qualities for which the Qatari people are known, such as gallantry, courage, strength, and pride.
The other piece bore the name "Fakhr", which was designed by Nouf Al-Meer and represents two earrings of 18-karat white and yellow gold, studded with yellow sapphires and white diamonds, and a value of 15,000 Qatari riyals. The earring takes the shape of the Arabian horse, which is famous for its beauty and is considered a symbol of chivalry, pride, and nobility across the region.
Saturn necklaces from Louis Vuitton
The Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition presented this stunning piece for the first time, a magnificent necklace weighing 186.42 carats and containing more than 140 multi-colored sapphires and diamonds. The diamonds are exclusively registered under the Louis Vuitton brand, which is based on the famous monogram floral designs with circular and pointed patterns.
Gaga Milano Group
Gaga Milano Group participated in the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition for the first time in the history of the exhibition, and the Italian Gaga Milano group has prepared enough to impress watch lovers with its unique creations. its participation was an opportunity to explore some of its collections such as Quirky Tourbillon, Napoleon, Manuel 48mm, and Skelton 48mm.
The Lebanese Jewellery house "Moawad" also presented iconic Jewellery pieces that satisfy the tastes of the elite, the most important of which is the "Regina" set that goes beyond innovation and exceptional features, a diamond necklace that can be transformed into a crown, as well as the "Dragon" necklace, a piece of jewelry set featuring bright yellow diamonds, classified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).
