Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar was chosen to be one of the five Indians by the World Economic Forum to be part of the Young Global Leaders (YGL) Class 2024.

Pednekar was recently in Geneva, Switzerland to be inducted as one of the Young Global Leaders.
The young actress made it to the YGL list under the Arts, Sports, and Culture category. Pednekar said, "I’m proud to be a Young Global Leader from India at the World Economic Forum! This motivates me to dedicate every minute of my life to social good. "
The actress said about the World Economic Forum, "This incredibly prestigious platform gives me the opportunity to connect to such brilliant minds and combine forces to leave behind a better world for our future generations."
Bhumi Pednekar has received three Filmfare Awards and is well-known for her work in 'Dham Laga Ke Haisha', 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha', and 'Bala'.
Pednekar also raises awareness about climate change for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
