BeIN Media Provides Twitter with Sports Content for World Cup 2022
beIN Media Group and its sports channel beIN SPORTS, the official broadcaster of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM, have entered into a strategic partnership with Twitter, under which beIN will provide the company with exclusive sports content for the world’s largest football event, which Qatar will host on November 20.
beIN SPORTS will share exclusive sports content with regional fans via Twitter, highlighting the most important match moments throughout the tournament, and giving brands and marketers the ability to participate through sponsorship opportunities offered by Twitter Amplify.

The partnership includes a total of 320 videos, where each match will have clips of featured content, one summary of the most important events, and an analysis clip from within the beIN Studios, which will be shared on the channel’s official Twitter account, @beINSPORTS.
Kinda Ibrahim, Twitter’s Head of Media Partnerships for the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey, said: “We have seen a 74% increase in the monthly average volume of football content circulation among the platform’s users compared to the past 12 months. For example, Saudi Arabia alone recorded during This year over 53 million tweets about football so far."

It is worth noting that Twitter has partnered with GWI to conduct field research with the aim of getting a clear picture of users' opinions of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM, as the company has reached out to more than 12,000 people in 12 different places including the Middle East and North Africa.
The survey showed that over 261 million Twitter users follow at least one major football spokesperson or provider, and 72% of Twitter users praise the attractiveness of sports content, reflecting the value of sharing football content across Platform.
