One of Youssef's recent posts criticized the weaponization of the term 'anti-Semitism'. The post elaborated on how the term was being used as a "fear-tactic" to "intimidate people".
With this anti-Semitism post, Youssef was referring to the discussions surrounding Israel's war in Gaza.
Youssef's post read as follows, "I see many people now realising how this fear tactic is used to shutdown conversations and scare people. It’s been overused and abused in order to intimidate people. Are you still scared to be called an anti-Semite by those Zionists? Vote and tell me in your comments.”
The comedian posted this statement on Monday, Aug. 19 and his account was removed hours after the post.
