Tech billionaire Elon Musk's xAI company launched the Grok 3 chatbot on Monday, Feb. 17, claiming that it is more advanced than its rivals.
In a live stream, the tech billionaire said, "It really should save you a lot of time. So something that might take you half an hour or an hour of researching on the web or social media, you can just ask [Grok 3] to go through that and come back and 10 minutes later it's done an hour's worth of work for you."
According to the data presented by xAI, the new chatbot outperforms the top generative chatbots in the fields of maths, science, and coding.
Grok 3 was developed by the world's largest and most powerful computer Colossus. There are two Grok 3 models: Grok 3 and Grok 3 mini, the latter comes with limited features.
The mini version either outperforms or is at par with the top AI models.
Grok 3 is now available for subscribers of X's Premium+ tier, which costs $22 monthly and $229 annually. xAI has recommended that users upgrade to the latest version of X to avail of the chatbot at full capacity.
xAI has also launched a SuperGrok subscription, which provides guaranteed access to Grok, early access to new features, higher image generation limits, and DeepSearch and Think services.
The subscription costs $30 monthly and $300 annually.
