An earthquake has been recorded in Iran which caused mild tremors in the United Arab Emirates including Dubai and Sharjah Sunday noon.

An earthquake of magnitude 6.1 occurred 60 km northwest of Bandar Abbas, Iran, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) reported.

Many UAE residents have reported feeling the earthquake on twitter. We have also felt It in the office.

According to VolcanoDiscovery the earthquake should not have caused significant damage, other than objects falling from shelves, broken windows, etc.
The quake hit at a shallow depth of 10 km beneath the epicenter near Bandar Abbas, Hormozgan, Iran, early afternoon on Sunday, November 14th, 2021, at 3:07 pm local time.
