Background and Allegations

Guo is linked to significant criminal allegations, including connections with Chinese fugitives and involvement in Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) tied to illegal activities such as torture, scamming, money laundering, and human trafficking.

Her assets, which include a private helicopter and race cars, have dramatically increased, with Guo attributing this wealth to her private businesses. There are also suspicions about her citizenship; her claimed Filipino heritage is questioned, with records suggesting she is purely Chinese, which would disqualify her from holding public office in the Philippines.

Guo has denied these allegations, insisting she is a natural-born Filipino citizen and denouncing the claims as “malicious.”

Return to the Philippines

The Philippine Justice Department has confirmed that Guo is now in Indonesian police custody. Senator Raffy Tulfo has announced that Guo will arrive in the Philippines on a chartered flight this Thursday evening, September 5, 2024. The flight is expected to land at around 6:18 PM.

This arrest marks a significant development in the ongoing investigation into Guo’s alleged criminal ties and her controversial refusal to cooperate with Philippine authorities.
