Actors and Artists Reveal Their Daily Rituals and Artworks in Ramadan
As the end of the days and nights of the holy month approaches, artists follow the audience's reactions to their Ramadan series on screens, and in return, they take advantage of Ramadan days for family visits and compensate for their preoccupation throughout the year by approaching their families.
During their interview with Qatar News Agency (QNA), a number of Qatari artists revealed their artworks on the screens of local channels and social networking websites and their daily rituals in the month of Ramadan.

The veteran Qatari actress Hadya Saeed said: "Ramadan this year is considered exceptional after overcoming the COVID-19 crisis, which led to the cessation of life and activities during the past two years, as we used to spend the month of Ramadan at our homes and avoid meeting others or accepting invitations at Iftar and Ghabga tables, as it is known in the atmosphere of Ramadan."
Saeed added, "I spend the holy month of Ramadan at home with my children and grandchildren, because I am keen to perform Tahajjud and worship throughout the holy month, and I am keen to complete the Qur'an in these few days and a lot of obedience and worship."
She noted that she is participating in some series during the month of Ramadan this year, including the series "Flashat", which is screened after iftar on the Al-Rayyan satellite channel, which is a series that shows various daily episodes, in addition to her participation in the series "Deeda Aisha", which is currently screened on Qatar TV after iftar, that deals with a range of topics, including customs, traditions, and behaviors, which are presented in a comic way.
For his part, big actor Abdullah Ghifan said: “I am keen to spend the month of Ramadan with the ties of kinship and to live the spiritual atmosphere characteristic of this holy month, as what distinguishes the month of Ramadan is meeting with family and friends constantly, whether at the daily iftar tables or through the visits and meetings at the Ghabga and Suhoor tables that do not stop at the councils of the people of Qatar."
Ghifan added: "The Al-Watan theater group, of which I am a board member, is currently working on preparing for theatrical productions during the post-Eid Al-Fitr period after the COVID-19 crisis has passed and life has returned to normal.
He explained that they are preparing to hold a general discussion session in the coming days, during which artists in Qatar, heads of theater groups, producers, directors, and writers will be invited to discuss with them several topics, including what do we offer to Qatari drama and Qatari theater in the future?
In a related context, the actor Ali Al-Sharshani explained that the month of Ramadan this year was different with the return of series, whether on local screens, or through social media platforms, pointing out that he participates in the series “Al-Qahqahat,” which is published on YouTube, and the series was written by Khaled Al-Doss and Khaled Ahmed Al-Bloushi. The series, with its various daily episodes, deals with some social issues in a comic sense.
