Abu Dhabi: Those With Expired Visa Can Receive COVID-19 Vaccine

Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee announced that those with expired residency or entry visas are now eligible for free COVID-19 vaccine.
The committee explained that the move is aimed at maintaining the health and safety of the community during these "exceptional circumstances".

The authority added that "any type of formal identification, even if expired, can be used to register at the designated vaccination centres".
Meanwhile, the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee announced the launch of an extensive COVID-19 testing and vaccination campaign at Abu Dhabi's Musaffah area.
The initiative is part of the emirate's comprehensive strategy to limit the spread of the virus.
