Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has announced the National Sterilisation Programme in Abu Dhabi emirate will end today as it achieved its goals successfully on Thursday, 19th August 2021.

Movement restrictions in the UAE capital between midnight and 5:00 am were introduced on July 19 to combat the spread of COVID-19.
Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee said the capacity for shopping malls, entertainment centres, cultural centres, museums, and movie theatres, has increased to 80% starting August 20th.
From August 20, only vaccinated individuals will be allowed to access select public areas in Abu Dhabi under new guidelines.
The listed public places limited to those vaccinated:
- Shopping centres, restaurants, cafes, and all other retail outlets, including those not within a shopping centre, as well as gyms, recreational facilities and sporting activities, health clubs, resorts, museums, cultural centres and theme parks.
- The list also includes universities, institutes, public and private schools and children’s nurseries in the emirate.
