90% Of UAE Population Received First Dose Of COVID-19 Vaccine

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has announced that 59,818 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were given in the past 24 hours.

The total number of doses provided up to today stands at 18,876,969 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 190.86 doses per 100 people.

This is in line with the Ministry's plan to provide the COVID-19 vaccine to all members of society and efforts to reach acquired immunity resulting from the vaccination, which will help reduce the number of cases and control the COVID-19 virus.
This means that around 78.98% of the UAE population is fully vaccinated now, while 90.17% has received the first dose.
A new list of guidelines was recently released in UAE as to when you can remove your mask off without paying any legal fees, this has been in corresponding to opening the country slowly as more people have been vaccinated.
